Prevent and remove scaling and mineral clogs. Completely dissolve existing struvite build-up along with other scaling problems such as vivianite and calcium carbonate in boilers with Z-AMP™. Z-AMP™ is specifically designed to prevent the bonding of ammonium, magnesium and phosphate and therefore prevent the formation of struvite and vivianite as well as dissolve existing build up.

Municipal Wastewater
A common challenge for wastewater treatment plants is struvite, a hard compound made up of ammonium, magnesium and phosphate, and vivianite (ferrous phosphate). Under turbulent pressurized conditions within pipes, struvite and/or vivianite will rapidly form crystals that spread throughout a pipeline forming a concrete-like crust. Z-AMP is a nonhazardous solution that completely and safely dissolves the struvite into reclaimable ammonia gas plus magnesium and phosphate for use in agriculture or for fertilizer purposes.
